What our CCTV service covers

From the first site survey to the day you need to pull footage.

Site survey and camera plan

We walk the premises and mark entrances, tills, stock, play areas or reception on a plan, then choose camera types for each spot: wide, long-range, low-light or dome.

Installation and cabling

Cameras mounted properly, cabling run neatly and labelled, power over Ethernet where possible, and nothing left dangling in the ceiling.

Recorder and storage

A network video recorder sized for the number of cameras and the retention you need, with storage calculated rather than guessed.

Live view on your phone

Secure remote viewing on your phone and laptop, with separate logins for owners and managers, and no camera exposed directly to the internet.

Isolated from your office network

Cameras run on their own network segment. CCTV traffic is heavy and cameras are a common way in for attackers, so they never sit beside your computers.

Support and footage retrieval

When something happens, we help you find and export the footage. Firmware updates, health checks and replacements when a camera fails.

What makes a CCTV installation good, or a waste of money

Most CCTV systems we are asked to look at in Dubai have the same problems: cameras pointed at the ceiling or into the sun, a recorder that overwrites footage after three days, a default password nobody changed, and remote viewing that stopped working when the internet line changed. The cameras cost money; the result is nothing usable when it matters.

A good installation starts with what you actually need to see. A nursery needs clear coverage of play areas and the entrance, with viewing limited to management. A showroom needs the floor, tills and loading bay. A warehouse needs stock, doors and the yard, often with long-range and low-light cameras. The survey decides the camera types, positions and storage, and the quote follows from that.

  • Right camera, right place. Resolution, lens and night performance chosen per position, not one model everywhere.
  • Retention you can rely on. Storage calculated from camera count, resolution and the number of days you need, typically 30 days or more.
  • Secure by default. Changed passwords, cameras on their own network, remote viewing through the recorder and not through open ports, and access removed when staff leave.
  • Documented. A camera map, the equipment list and the admin logins handed to you, so any engineer can support it later.

Zone of Solutions installs and supports CCTV across Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman for offices, clinics and medical centres, nurseries, showrooms, warehouses and multi-site businesses. Because we also run your network and IT, the cameras are set up to work with them rather than against them.

How it works

Three visits at most: survey, installation, handover.

1

Site survey

An engineer visits, maps the areas to cover, checks cable routes and where the recorder will live, and confirms how you want to view footage.

2

Fixed quote

You receive a camera plan and an itemised fixed price: cameras, recorder, storage, cabling and installation. No surprises on the day.

3

Install and handover

Installation scheduled around your hours. Every camera is checked on screen, remote viewing is set up on your phone, and you receive the camera map and logins.

CCTV installation in Dubai: common questions

How many cameras do we need?
It depends on the areas to cover, not the size of the building. A small office is often four to six cameras; a showroom or warehouse more. The survey gives you an exact count and why, before any quote.
Can I watch the cameras from my phone?
Yes. We set up secure remote viewing on your phone and laptop through the recorder, with separate logins for owners and managers. Cameras are never exposed directly to the internet.
How long is footage kept?
As long as you specify. We size the storage for your retention requirement, typically 30 days or more, and confirm it on handover. Some business types and landlords have minimum retention rules, which we take into account.
Which brand do you install?
Hikvision for most installations, which offers a wide range of camera types and reliable recorders at a sensible price. We also support existing Dahua, Uniview and similar systems.
Do you install in Sharjah and Ajman as well as Dubai?
Yes. We cover Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman for installation and site support, and the rest of the UAE for larger projects.
Can you add cameras to our existing system?
Usually. We check the recorder's capacity and compatibility on the survey. If it is near its limit or unsupported, we tell you and quote both options.
What happens if a camera stops working?
You tell us, and we check it remotely first. Many issues are a cable or power problem fixed on a short visit; a failed camera is replaced under its warranty where it applies.
